Here I Am 04:00
I see you standing all alone in this crowded room I can't help myself, I gravitate towards you You keep me wide awake at night I question why you make me feel so good and right I'm what you need and you can't get away from me Hey, do you know me? I haven't seen you here before Hey, do you want me? Come and tell me you need more You can't run forever There's no you without me Here I am I need your skin I want your touch The way you move tends to give me a rush Addicted to you and I just can't get enough I'll sell your soul for a little bag of dust You're crystalized and I can't believe my eyes

Used To 04:58
I'll suspend myself in some song Drive as far and as fast as the day is long You would say to go slow but I would also say that life's to short Ya know? It's funny how the only way you can see yourself is in a mirror And how some say that through other eyes you see clearer I know that I always say that I need to move far away But it's alright Most days I'm already gone I'm trying not to harp on the escape we can't see When you get stuck or lost in this confusing reality I don't need you like I used to Like I used to After all that shit we've been through Now I don't even miss you But I know I used to I'll suspend myself in some song Forget all about the path we're on You would say you don't know in which direction we should go Oh, yeah

about

Objects tend to resist their state of motion. People tend to resist change. Sometimes we find it hard to push ourselves. After two years of playing their expressive pop/rock jams live, New Jersey natives, Powerlines, are finally ready to release their debut EP, "Inertia."

Guitarist, Tyler Anderson, and singer, Deanna DiLandro have been writing songs together since the day they met. "Inertia" is a collection of moments the two songwriter’s shared during their adventures in 2016, when the band, including bassist, Matt DiIonno, and drummer, Christian Negri, united at Rutgers University. These songs draw upon the adventures and emotions that encompassed their collective college experience as well as their immense excitement for the future. With every new stage, Powerlines is constantly overcoming their own inertia and their driving force is rock and roll.

Thanks for listening and sharing this music with us.

All the proceeds from this EP will be going directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation!
